Job Description:  The Kids Spot Jr Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ministry to children six weeks old through preschool age. This is a part-time position that offers some flexibility in working hours.

Supervisor:

One Hope Kids Director

Commitment:

Part-time, roughly 20 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Weekly

• Weekly meetings

  • Supervisory

  • One Hope Kids

  • Staff Meeting

• Mail guest postcards

• Prepare KSJ ministry environments

  • General supplies, curriculum supplies, toys, signs, snacks, guest gifts

• Be sure that all classrooms are neat and orderly

• Send reminders to volunteers.

Monthly

• Edit curriculum (due on the 15th of every month)

• Compile a monthly supply list (submitted on the 1st of every month)

• Print curriculum and pull supplies (including toys) for the following month (by the 25th of every month)

• Email curriculum to Tykes and Preschool leaders (1st of every month)

• Order and purchase all KSJ supplies

• Complete a monthly credit card statement and Sam’s card statement

• Playlister for Tot and Tyke rooms

• Propresenter for Preschool spot

• Discover childcare

Every three months

• Create a volunteer schedule

• Mail schedules

Yearly

• Plan and host KSJ Playdate

• KSJ leader training

• Assist in planning and facilitating annual parent’s night out

• Recruit, train, lead, and equip teams of volunteers

• Renewal Forms

As Needed

• Update and hang room schedules

• Promotion of children

• onitor safety and usability of all toys and equipment

• Hire, recruit, train, lead, and equip paid leaders
