Colossians, Week 7
In Colossians 3:1-17, Paul challenges believers to live according to their new identity in Christ rather than settling for less. Since we have been raised with Christ, we must set our minds on things above and put to death our old sinful nature. This means actively removing behaviors like sexual immorality, greed, anger, and lies while intentionally clothing ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, patience, and love. When we truly live according to our new identity, we experience the peace of Christ that surpasses understanding—the wholeness and completeness we've been searching for.

Colossians, Week 6
Discover why rules become problematic when they prioritize religion over relationship with God, feed pride instead of humility, and lead to disconnection from Christ. Paul reminds believers that Jesus has already canceled our debt of sin by nailing it to the cross, freeing us from the burden of rule-keeping. Understand the fundamental difference between religion (man's quest for God) and the Gospel (God's quest for man). If you're feeling burdened by religious expectations or struggling to balance rules and relationship in your faith journey, this message offers biblical insight and practical guidance. Find freedom in Christ's invitation: 'Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.'

Colossians, Week 5
Everyone desires significance, but true meaning isn't found in fleeting moments of recognition or worldly achievements. As Paul teaches in Colossians 2:6-12, our significance comes solely through our relationship with Jesus Christ. We must walk in Christ, be rooted in Him, built up on His foundation, strengthened in faith, and overflow with thankfulness. Modern distractions like consumerism, relativism, legalism, self-help spirituality, political identity, and social media validation can dilute our faith. The powerful truth is that in Christ, we are already complete—chosen, redeemed, fully known, and fully loved.

Colossians, Week 3
Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God, supreme over all creation and the head of the church. Though we often elevate other things in our lives - from sports figures to relationships - only Jesus deserves the highest place of authority. He existed before everything, created all things, and holds creation together. Jesus reconciled us to God through His death, making us holy and blameless. When we properly elevate Jesus in our lives, He becomes our first resource in every situation, not our last resort.

Colossians, Week 2
God's will for our lives begins with His rescue operation through Jesus, bringing us from darkness into light. It extends beyond salvation to living a life that pleases God and bears fruit. This transformed life isn't achieved through our own efforts but through the Holy Spirit's empowerment with knowledge, wisdom, power, endurance, patience, and joy. Understanding God's will isn't about getting specific answers to every question but embracing a lifestyle of surrender, transformation, and spiritual empowerment that allows us to live in our inheritance now.

Colossians, Week 1
True significance is found in being God's person, having faith in Jesus, and loving others.
