Rescue Sunday
Spiritual indifference is a natural drift that affects our relationship with God and our response to His calling. Just as muscles atrophy without exercise, our faith weakens when we're not intentional about maintaining it. Jesus warns against this casualness because it causes us to miss opportunities to impact lives and advance God's kingdom. To combat this drift, we must examine our pride, prejudice, and posture toward God, break from being too busy to notice others' needs, be present with our neighbors in their struggles, and cultivate tenacity through consistent spirit-led steps. Every intentional choice we make has the potential to transform lives and become part of God's rescue mission in the world.
