I’ve Got Joy, Week 1
Biblical joy is fundamentally different from circumstantial happiness. As the second fruit of the Spirit, joy comes from God's presence within us, not from our external circumstances or activities. Even in seasons of pain and loss, we can experience true joy by inviting God into our struggles and recognizing that joy belongs to His salvation, not our situations. When we receive God's joy, our natural response should be praise and worship, taking off the garments of mourning and putting on garments of praise that point others to God's faithfulness.
